Self-Diagnosis
Definition
The least you need to know
Self-diagnosis is an organization's ability to recognize, on its own, that it is in trouble and to correct course. It is the single feature that separates Treadmill from The Big Rut on the Predictable Success Lifecycle. In Treadmill an organization can still see its decline and reverse it; by the time it reaches The Big Rut, the ability is gone. Because the capacity erodes as decline sets in, the corpus prescribes building it deliberately while still in Predictable Success.
