The Bureaucrat

Definition

The least you need to know

The Bureaucrat is the dark side of the Processor leadership style, the same person whose Dominant Processor tendencies have tipped from disciplined into obstructive. For this leader everything is either compliant or not compliant, and anything outside the approved system can only fail. The label needs careful diagnosis: a genuinely good Processor is often misread as a bureaucrat by Visionaries and Operators who dislike systems at all.
