Meetings Inventory
Definition
The least you need to know
The meetings inventory is the list of every meeting an organization actually holds, examined and rebuilt so each one is relevant, efficient, and effective. It is the fourth and final element of building a machine for decision-making, after the org chart, job specifications, and information flow. The first cut separates meetings that PLAN from meetings that REVIEW, then maps each one onto a cadence: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual. Any meeting that does not fit becomes a candidate to stop or change.
