Shadow T1
Definition
The least you need to know
A Shadow T1 is a person or small subgroup outside the formal senior leadership team that makes the real decisions, usually by re-deciding whatever the official T1 has already worked through. Common shapes are a lead pastor and spouse, two co-founders who settle everything in the car, or a Visionary-Integrator pair. It worked in the Fun stage, but in Whitewater it overrides the genuine senior team the company now needs. Naming it without blame is the first step toward fixing it.
