T1
Definition
The least you need to know
T1 is the most senior leadership group in an organization, the innermost ring of the Tori model of nested decision-making groups (T0 through T4). It owns the multi-year, high-level goals that move the organization closer to its mission, vision, and values, set in consultation with the T0 ownership group above and the T2 managers below. A real T1 does not exist in the early stages; it has to be built, and most of the structural work of getting through Whitewater is the work of forming a true T1.
