O-S Conflict
Definition
The least you need to know
The O-S Conflict is the structural friction between the Operator and the Synergist, one of two clashes the VOPS model flags as an Area of Potential Conflict. The two hold almost opposite worldviews: the Operator's get-it-done-now urgency reads the Synergist's push for alignment as a barrier, while the Synergist sees the Operator as having lost all humanity. The model treats it as Styles-based, and resolves it by agreeing on common goals, assuming positive intent, and stacking hands on team effectiveness.
