Conflict Management

Definition

The least you need to know

Conflict Management is one of the Teamwork skills in the Synergist's Toolkit, the people-side capabilities that let a senior team work as one instead of splitting into competing camps. Synergists neither overreact to conflict nor needlessly create or avoid it. They manage it positively, always in light of the Enterprise Commitment, seeking the best outcome for the organization as a whole. The stance is ruthlessly constructive: a firm but supportive embrace of conflict as a necessary part of the team process, while draining it of unnecessarily negative or personal attacks.
