Innovation

Definition

The least you need to know

Innovation is one of the thirteen Imperatives of the Scalability Matrix, and its job is to take an organization's ability to innovate out of the heads of a few people and build it into the enterprise itself. The model defines it as a product, service, or process that is new or more effective and meets a need while adding value, and as the ability to innovate without undue dependence on specific individuals. The real work is moving from innovation held by one person, usually the Visionary, to innovation embedded everywhere.
