Ownership and Self-Accountability

Definition

The least you need to know

Ownership and Self-Accountability is the innate belief that an employee owns every aspect of their job and holds themselves accountable for their own performance and for tasks delegated to them, beyond any formal accountability. It is the degree to which everyone takes personal responsibility for their contribution to the organization's common goals. Unlike the other twelve Imperatives, you never work on it directly. It cannot be forced or mandated; it emerges once the other Imperatives are working.
